Anushka is an actor and producer from Bollywood. She is acclaimed for her acting as well as being among the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood. Anushka joined an acting class before beginning to audition for film roles in addition to her modeling career. Anushka Sharma's acting debut was in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan. For her screen test, she refused to do the test in a hurry and instead spent the day off to practice. Later, she signed up for three films together with Yash Raj Films. The film in which she starred performed the part of a young, middle-aged bride man (the part Shah Rukh Khan was playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. In 2010, Anushka Sharma was in the film "Badmash Co with Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang. The film received mixed reviews. Anushka appeared alongside Ranveer in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat,' where she portrayed the role of a Punjabi middle class girl who started her own business. It was a surprise hit and received good reviews. Anushka's contract for three films at Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baaraat.
